Hywood hybrid wood flooring has been selected for the UK’s largest zero bills housing scheme.
This ground breaking development is a partnership between the developer GS8 and Octopus Energy, and consists of 113 new homes.
The development is at the forefront of sustainable development with the highest level of concern for all elements of the build and chosen materials. GS8 are developing within their Planet Positive Framework and Zero Waste Charter, and ter Hürne are delighted to be part of this journey.
The Hywood product offers natural wood flooring in large plank formats, manufactured using “wood powder technology” that enable us to produce at least six times the amount of finished flooring from the same cubic metre of raw oak, and increase the hardness of the wear layer by 3-4 times.
